Flex Cancellation Coverage
The Flex Cancellation add-on is an optional protection service available during checkout before completing your payment. It provides greater flexibility if your travel arrangements unexpectedly change.
This option can be applied to
- Swiss Travel Pass
- Swiss Travel Pass Flex
- Swiss Half Fare Card
- Regional travel passes
- Mountain railway tickets
- Train tickets
Conditions for bookings with Flex Cancellation
If your booking includes the Flex Cancellation add-on, you may cancel your tickets free of charge until one day prior to the start of validity. The full ticket amount will be refunded.
Please note:
- The Flex Cancellation fee itself is not refundable.
- Refunds are no longer available once the validity period has started.
Conditions for bookings without Flex Cancellation
For cancellations made without the Flex Cancellation option, the following service charges apply:

| Between purchase date and 4 days before validity start | CHF 30 per booking |
| 3 to 1 day before validity start date | CHF 60 per booking |
| After the first day of validity | Not possible |
For train tickets specifically:
- CHF 30 per ticket, up to a maximum of CHF 60 per booking.
- After the first day of validity, cancellations and refunds are no longer possible.
