Section 01
Issuing Agent
SELERA LTD acts as an issuing agent for Swiss Federal Railways and the Swiss Travel System (STS). By using this website, you agree to these terms immediately upon first use.
Section 02
Travel Passes
Swiss Travel Passes, Swiss Flexi Passes and Youth Passes are issued with fixed travel dates printed on the pass and cannot be open dated.
Passenger names and dates of birth are required for ticket and pass issuance. If these details are not provided during booking, SELERA will contact you to obtain them.
Section 03
Refunds & Cancellations
Refund requests for STS products, swisspassdigi.to products and PDF tickets may be submitted up to 3 days before the travel date and within 1 month of the order or issue date. Approved refunds are subject to a 20% administration fee per person, with a minimum charge of GBP 4 (or equivalent).
Swiss Travel Passes and Half-Fare Cards may be cancelled free of charge up to 3 days before the start date.
No refunds are available for partially used, lost or stolen tickets, and duplicate tickets cannot normally be issued except for PDF tickets. Unused reservations are non-refundable after the reserved travel date unless covered by SBB Passenger Rights provisions.
Orders cancelled by SELERA for operational reasons will be fully refunded.
Section 04
Non-Refundable Items
The following products are strictly non-refundable:
- Fly-Luggage labels and vouchers
- European tickets
- Ski pass vouchers
- Ski rental vouchers
- Seat reservations
- Saver Day Pass PDF tickets (cannot be amended or cancelled)
Original physical tickets may be required before refunds can be processed. SELERA is not responsible for Fly-Luggage service issues, which must be handled directly with Swiss Rail.
Customers should review all tickets and passes upon receipt and report any errors before travel.
Section 05
Ticket Issuance & Timing
Due to STS system limitations, most tickets cannot be issued more than 2 months before travel, and some cannot be issued more than 1 month in advance. Customers travelling later than these timeframes may either contact SELERA closer to departure or place an order in advance for later processing. Orders are generally dispatched around 1 month before travel.
SELERA may decline to process bookings requiring postal delivery if departure is within 4 working days. Where available, PDF tickets can usually be issued immediately.
Most tickets are now issued electronically. Where physical tickets or luggage tags are required, orders are sent by tracked International Priority Mail. Ticket processing is prioritised according to departure date and is typically completed within 2 to 3 working days, although delays may occur during peak periods.
Section 06
Delivery
Tickets are sent using the delivery method and address selected during booking. SELERA is not liable for delays or failures caused by postal or courier services, or unsuccessful delivery attempts. Customers may choose alternative delivery addresses, including work addresses.
SELERA's responsibility ends once tickets have been correctly dispatched. Ski passes for selected resorts may be collected personally or delivered to hotels instead of issuing vouchers. Refunds of key cards require return of the cards to SELERA's Swiss office.
Section 07
Price Guarantee
SELERA guarantees that equivalent tickets cannot be purchased from another UK company at a lower retail price. If a lower qualifying price is found, SELERA will match or beat it.
Section 08
Ski Rental
The Ski Rental section of the website facilitates rental agreements between customers and participating snow equipment shops. SELERA acts solely as the introducing agent. Liability relating to rented equipment remains with the individual shop.
Ski rental pricing depends on the rental duration selected. Where a refund is requested for unused days, the refund will be recalculated according to the shorter rental period rate available at the same shop during the same week, rather than by dividing the original booking cost proportionally.
Ski rental cancellations made before the first rental day should be submitted to SELERA. Refunds after equipment collection require written confirmation from the shop showing the return date, time and agreed refund period. Refunds are credited to the original payment card, less a 20% administration fee with a minimum charge of GBP 4 per person.
Customers collect equipment directly from the selected shop using their voucher and identification. Equipment is normally held until the end of the first booked day. A credit card deposit may be required.
Bookings do not include insurance. Shops may offer optional theft and damage cover during collection, but customers remain responsible for equipment that is lost, stolen or damaged. Independent travel or equipment insurance is strongly recommended.
Ski rental cancellations may be made up to four working days before the rental start date. Refunds will be processed minus applicable handling charges. Later cancellations are subject to SELERA discretion and may incur additional penalties.
SELERA works with established equipment suppliers and makes reasonable efforts to ensure suitable standards. However, SELERA does not inspect all equipment individually and accepts no liability for equipment performance, injuries or related claims. Responsibility remains with the rental shop. Nothing in these terms affects statutory rights.
Equipment categories are defined as follows:
- "VIP" — 5-star equipment
- "TOP" — 4-star equipment
- "FUN" — 3-star equipment
Requested models will be supplied where possible. Helmets may be rented directly from the shop where available. Some shops may require a security deposit such as credit card details or a passport.
Section 09
Ski Passes & RailJet Tickets
Issued ski passes are strictly non-refundable and remain subject to the lift operator's own terms and conditions.
RailJet tickets include seat reservations. If a passenger misses the reserved train, the ticket remains valid for later services, but the reserved seat is forfeited.
Section 10
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
